Affinity washer error message?

The washer won't spin or drain and shows e21 error code, what does it mean? Can I possibly fix it myself? In no way can I afford a repair call or new washer now!!! PLEASE HELP!! : )Affinity washer error message?
E21 is slow drain. this means there is something clogging the filter in the hose from the tub to the pump. 1. unplug unit. 2. remove bottom access panel on the front. 3 be ready for water to spill lots of towels you can throw them back in washer when this procedure is done, so don't worry, pack the towels around the hose that comes from the bottom of the tub to the the pump 4 remove the clamp holding the tub to the pump 5 gentle remove the hose this is where you may get wet 6 reach into the hose you will feel a filter (cup like with holes in it) work is out of the hose it will be tuff but it will come out 8 now you have it in your hand clean it out all good 9 put it back it must be there so don't think of leaving it out , you must push it all the way back down until it is set in the grove for the lip of the basket. 10 reassemble the unit

now if you unit doesn't have the front panel then you should call a repair person because the front will need to come off to get to the pump. You can access for the back but then the job becomes 10 fold harder to do. If you would like instruction to do it still and are up for the challenge let me know and I will tell you how to get the front off. Hope I have helped youAffinity washer error message?

looks like its not draining. something is stuck or your hose is kinked..... from fixya.com:

';E21 means ';Not pumping out fast enough';. Could be debris caught in the pump inlet sump or pump body.

Disconnect the inlet sump from the pump. Disconnect the outlet hose from the pump. Remove the (2) screws, one on each side, holding the pump housing to the washer base. Unplug the wires from the pump motor and lift the pump assembly out.';

  1. I recently fixed my problem by opening the back panel, unclipping the hose, unscrewing the pump, and even removing the tiny perforated cup located inside the black rubber accordion sack (above the pump). There were 2 coins inside and three small cloths that we use to clean the fish tank with. They just got sucked in, which is why I kept getting the Affiinity's error 21. The water just wasn't exiting fast enough and it would pause before the spin. I actually pulled the catch cup out to remove these items (tough to get back in by the way). Now the machine works fine, drains like it used to. I suggest duct taping all sharp edges as my hands were really sliced up after I finished. Also, get a couple of small and large metal clip screw tighteners because the squeeze clips the manufacturer uses to tighten the hose to the pump and to the rubber sack are impossible to get back on. Good luck!
