They put those on their products to protect themselves from lawsuits. For instance: Remember the lady who sued McDonald's because she burned herself on hot coffee? Well DUH, coffee is supposed to be hot!
The bad thing is, that there is a reason for those label and warnings, that is very scary indeed.....
