the rear wiper works fine, and the pump works i can hear it. if i hold in the button washer fluid comes from a rubber component near the back of the truck. does anyone know how i can fix this or if a hose is supposed to be attached there? the rubber spot is right above the muffler.Rear Windshield washer problem on 2001 GMC Jimmy?
There should be a hose attatched to the rear pump. Locate that hose and see why it's not attatched. Over time the rubber will dry-rot and occasionally break off. You may need to install a new piece of hose to fix the problem. If it is attatched, disconnect it at both ends and try to blow through it to see if it's clogged up. If that doesn't work, run a safety pin in the end of the nozzle to clear the nozzle tip. Good luck.
